[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Developed by a passionate Landcare volunteer, this series highlights local native plants to grow awareness and appreciation of Junee’s natural environment.

The Junee Shire is home to a diverse range of native plant and tree species, however, many residents are unaware of the ecological value and local significance of the vegetation around them.

This lack of awareness makes it harder to encourage native plant use in gardens and community projects, and limited appreciation of the natural environment within the shire.

A passionate Landcare member took the initiative to develop Local Focus, a series of one-page information sheets, each featuring a local native plant species.
